Es ist mein Beitrag für die Challenge bei
paint and draw together
Das Bild zu malen war eine riesig grosse Herausforderung für mich, denn ich wollte auf keinen Fall den grossen Meister Vermeer kopieren.
Das Bild als Aquarell umzusetzen ist eine weitere Schwierigkeit gewesen. Es war mir wichtig die Farben teilweise richtig fliessen lassen.
Ausserdem habe ich versucht sehr intensiv mit Licht zu arbeiten und auch die Atmosphäre des 16 Jahrhundert zu vermitteln.
Ich hoffe das mein Bild Euch gefällt. Danke schön fürs Anschauen.

This is so beautiful. It looks dreamlike in watercolours.
Beautiful work Janina and yes is does convey wonderfully the 16th Century. It is full of mystery too but that comes from using watercolours. They create a softer atmosphere that no other medium can. Just fabulous. Best wishes for 2013.
